In March 2026, our Life Science Research Scientist Dr. Ian Sands, Ph.D pitched (and won first place) in the Tech Connect’s Biotech in Space Symposium’s “Bio in Space Innovation Challenge” competition. Dr. Sands spoke on “Microgravity-Optimized Janus Base Nanoparticles” and how Eascra Biotech leverages space and microgravity to advance development and commercialization of biomaterials.
In September 2025, our CEO Mari Anne Snow and our Co-Founder & Science Advisor Dr. Yupeng Chen Ph.D were interviewed on the official podcast of the International Space Station’s National Lab “Between a Rocket and a Hard Space” They discussed their collaborative efforts to develop nanomaterials in microgravity that could one day revolutionize treatments for diseases ranging from cancer to osteoarthritis.
